Johnny Lee found his passion for film and theatre by the age of 3, being raised up on Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Keanu Reeves, Alan Rickman, and Johnny Depp. It was from this point on his sights were set on becoming an Actor. He was a high energy kid, taking part in all kinds of athletics. When he turned 15yrs old, he asked his mother if she could enroll him in Martial Arts. His first Martial Art was Taekwondo and Hapkido studied under Grand Master Earl Lee Taylor. That quickly became his favorite activity, and lead him to take on more activities such as, TKD Kickboxing & MMA with Johnnie Morris from Aspire Martial Arts, calisthenics, gymnastics, and yoga.
A year later he began to get into local theatre programs to begin his education as an Actor. He studied acting, stage combat, singing, and dancing. Being very serious about his education in both Acting and Athletics, when he turned 18, he also enrolled in college alongside his theatre studies, majoring in Kinesiology: Sports Medicine & Physical Fitness, with an emphasis on Physical Therapy. In between his theatre practice, and college studies, he also made time to go up to Los Angeles to train and network. His strong athletic prowess garnished him much attention at events and gyms, helping him build a good network of friends, which lead to him eventually meeting his mentors Tim Neff, and Dy Sao.
He trained stunt falls and reactions with Tim Neff, as well as fight choreo fundamentals. He trained Martial Arts Action with DY Sao along with Bokator and Kun Khmer Boran. 8 months into his mentorship with DY Sao, Johnny made his official debut in the film Shadow Master (2022). Johnny Lee got his start in music working with Norman Petty, the famed producer who was responsible for Buddy Holly in Clovis, New Mexico, Johnny Lee left home in Farwell, Texas with his band "Baby" for a life adventure in music.
In the late seventies, Johnny arrived in Los Angeles and began touring with Bonnie Raitt and The Bump Band. He has toured with Taj Mahal, Ronnie Wood and John Fogerty.
